The 300zx was notoriously badly engineered and the only way this was possible was by gutting it.
They were gorgeous cars but they were junk.
Nissan has and does make good vehicles but this is not one of them. The first few years of the Titan were a disaster despite the innovative features and price they offered. The Leaf, got what? 100 miles before you had to recharge it?
Had a nissan self destruct on me. It was only about 5 years old and decided to eat all the oil. inb4 stupid girl didn't check the oil. Ran full snyth, swapped every 3k, and no idiot lights came on. It was fucking totally fucked. Bought it new.
Drive by wire was nice and peppy. Sadly will not buy another one.
Edit: I've never owned a new vehicle and do most of the maintenance myself. If I connect the battery on one of them all three will fire up first try and run smoothly without hesitation. --- Well, the truck needs a little while to warm up but it will run solid cold if you ask it to.
yeah, I will buy an old one, with a manual transmission, no way I can't stand automatic something. And as less smart features as possible too. :) Once with this Alfa, some dude with Bmw wanted to race with me, lol, it was just a dust behind me, he could not switch gears properly, and as fast. yeah. I think I will look now more for Mazda perhaps, or Toyota, not sure. Or I will go crazy and buy yours American pickup truck, no one has this here, it looks huge for our euro cars. :D

edit: don't buy new. New cars (Ford) track you and report you to insurance companies.
