Too bad their quality went to shit after Renault bought them. To help boost sales, after the market realized that the reputation for quality was a thing of the past, Nissan made it very easy to purchase some models. I forget the details now but basically if you had a pulse you could qualify for financing. This meant that niggers with a lousy credit rating could get one. Which is why every time you saw a new Nissan there was a nigger behind the wheel.

The Nissan Skyline is the poor man's supercar, but it is not "low quality".

The Skyline GTR drivetrain is put together by hand using only master craftsman mechanics with decades of specific experience. They are the samurai of automotive engineers. No other Japanese automakers do that.
The Skyline holds records on every major racing grounds on earth.
The 91 Sentra is such a reliable little beast they still make it to this day in Mexico.
The 2 liter SR20 is still a coveted racing engine that will smoke damn near any other 4 cylinder.
I don't know what hit piece article you read, but even Toyota Racing Development struggles to compete with Nizmo
