It seems like he was distinguishing between 'assimilated' people who were brought into the country at young ages (decades ago) and people who were part of the more recent waves. At the end of that part of the interview he was talking about deporting entire families. So it's possible that there are all kinds of loops with a program like this. A parent getting deported might mean the child does as well, or it could be that a child protected from deportation gets protection for his family. We're going to have to see how it goes. Trump was all talk when it came to his last administration. I expect nothing different.

Don't get me wrong. I trust nobody. I just didn't see this interview as strong evidence nobody was getting deported.
