Iron Maiden's drummer is playing his last show tonight

I'm very, very upset about it. I am not and cannot be upset with him, but I still have these feelings anyway. They've been my favorite band since 2001, and I figured they would all retire together.

I love all of their music and will until the day I die, but it still hurts. Aging sucks

I was dropping The best fucn microdot LSD when they first came on the music scene, getting it from the then legendary Cercle Electrique Bar in Quebec City sourced from the coolest gang of Hell's angels who were running things at the time.
The greatest time of life.
I still remember them first metal head black leathers and hearing "Run to the Hills"
But preferred Gentle Giant and most all British prog.

I got in to them as a young teenager, first initially because of the album covers - and also as one of our hang around group in the mid 80's, got a full Trooper back piece with the iron maiden across the top of his shoulders after taking the Tshirt in to a local tattoo artist.
good times.
