Some years ago I had a Hershey's bar. Absolutely vile. WTF is in it?

Seriously, who eats that stuff?

It’s just a sweet bar of chocolate mixed with soy. Not much different than most low end chocolates.

Butyric acid, due to Hershey's having a historically fucked up milk production process. Butyric acid is the active taste in literal vomit, and enough americans got used to chocolate having that taste that Hershey's never changed it.

No joke, put it as a search term along with Hershey's - https://www.thetakeout.com/why-hershey-s-chocolate-tastes-like-vomit-to-some-peopl-1846527404/

You even have to beware chocolate called Cadbury's in USA because Hershey's owns that trademark. Cadbury's elsewhere is a totally different and non-butyric chocolate product, and many European chocolatiers are better still.

What are Grey Market Goods?

I was going to say stuff oldies eat but they appear to be goods that in terms of being regulated fall into a grey area i.e. not regulated to the same standards as, say, UK goods.
