Well, when you continue to count ballots that showed up in vans 3 weeks after the election, of course the win will dwindle.

Remember the “big lie”?

Yes, I remember the thing that Hitler explicitly said only jews do.

In 2020, Donald Trump lost the presidential election so Republicans just brazenly lied and insisted he won.

Except courts ruled he won and you’re in violation of the law for saying otherwise.

Trump didn’t just win, they say, but he won big. He won a landslide. He won an historic mandate for his “Maga” agenda.

Yes, and?

None of this is true. Yes, Trump won the popular vote and the electoral college. Yes, Republicans won the Senate and the House. But, contrary to both Republican talking points and breathless headlines and hot takes from leading media outlets (“resounding”, “rout”, “runaway win”), there was really nothing at all historic or huge about the margin of victory.

Thanks for admitting that everything you said is false is true.

Repeat after me: there was no “landslide”. There was no “blowout”. There was no “sweeping” mandate given to Trump by the electorate. The numbers don’t lie.

There was a landslide, there was a blowout, there was a sweeping mandate, the numbers don’t lie.

Yes, Trump… [won] the popular vote. However… he did not win a majority of the vote.

Thanks for admitting that he won a majority of the vote. That’s what “winning the popular vote” means.

We actually know what a landslide in the popular vote looks like: the Democrat Lyndon Johnson defeated the Republican Barry Goldwater in 1964 by an enormous margin of 22.6 percentage points!

Stolen election, your point?

Second, consider the electoral college.

The thing you hate, you mean?

Trump won 307 votes, which is 37 more than is needed to secure victory in the electoral college. But it’s still far fewer than

Irrelevant. It’s far more than your nigger whore.

what Biden won

Biden didn’t win.

By the way, did you know that Trump won the crucial blue wall states - Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – by 231,000 votes? So if just 116,000 voters across those three swing states – or 0.7% of the total – had switched from Trump to Harris, it is the vice-president who would have won the electoral college … and the presidency!

Guess what? She didn’t, though. So no one gives a shit.

Third, consider the so-called “coattails” effect

The thing you claimed didn’t exist before?

So where were the Trump coattails in the Senate?

Courts have admitted several elections were stolen.

extremely partisan and anti-democratic gerrymander

Feel free to suicide bomb a synagogue if you think anyone is falling for this.

a “record small majority”.

That’s what happens when you get caught destroying ballots.

You almost have to admire their chutzpah.

You would, wouldn’t you, dune coon?

But there is also method to their megalomania. As the political scientist Julia Azari has observed, when a president and a party claim a sweeping mandate

So King Nigger was a megalomaniac?

Trump, the 49.9% president, doesn’t represent the popular will.

Thanks for admitting he represents the popular will.

if we are to prevent him from expanding his power in the Oval Office

Cry about it.

Repeat after me: there was nothing unique or unprecedented about the election result last month.

There were many unique and unprecedented things about the election result last month.

to borrow a line from the right, the facts don’t care about their feelings.

Correct: your feelings don’t matter, Trump won, and you’re going to kill yourself.

Isn’t American.

Nice rebuttal.
Were you in high school debate club?

Honestly, I developed this style after watching too much Mystery Science Theater 3000. My high school was extremely stripped down and didn’t have anything fun or interesting to learn as secondaries. The class on the Constitution was an elective.

I apologize for triggering your OCD.

Do you have the cliff noted version of this?

I'm pretty sure it was because she went against her handlers and didn't pick Shapiro.
