No, that is not possible for crops. To care for crops you need to spend a few hours each day during certain seasons. My neighbors have a small garden and they enjoy growing crops, so I see how much hard work it is. Of course, the things they get out of their garden taste a lot better than what you can buy, but it's not a good use of your time unless you enjoy the process.
