There was a guy back then who tested this theory out and drank radium infused water every day for about a year, I think. Said it made him feel amazing.

All of a sudden, his skin started melting off his body and his face literally fell off his skull. Poor dude died an agonizingly gruesome death.

That episode pretty much ended the radium water fad real quick.

The man you are thinking of is Ebenezer McBurney Byers. He is the one in that old picture showing him missing his lower jaw. He started to consume Radium after getting injured falling out of bed on a train.

Yep. He was kind of a famous golf pro during his time, I believe. There is a good video on this from YouTuber Mr. Ballen that's worth a watch. Pretty sad story.

Snark aside, I don’t think I can do it justice explaining the glaring problems with keto. I’m not patient nor articulate enough. I think you should look at what the opposition has to say and also look up very long term keto followers. They are pretty much as unhealthy as vegans, both are just extremes at opposite ends
