I have been saying this was likely for 20 years! Amazing to see it's finally being looked into. I noticed in my experiences that a lot of the mothers to autistic boys were regular consumers of diet sodas. Some were fat and some were thin but they all drank at least one can a day and some were worse than that. I'm unsure if the severity scales with the amount of consumption. Thanks for the info.

My adult son is "on the spectrum". High functioning Asperger's Syndrome. Electrical engineer, very intelligent, but socially deficient. His mother, my ex, consumed far too much Tab and Diet Coke. I'm sure it contributed to his condition. I will never share with her what I suspect, it would crush her.
Good man. That would absolutely destroy your ex and there's nothing to do about it now anyway. But it's good that you're sharing the info here to get the word out to those who may be beginning the process of parenthood. Sounds like you are a good dad and your son is doing very well. That's all we can ever hope for our children.
Who cares! Get the vaccines out so we can pump our children with all that good immunity to covid, the measles, flu, chicken pox, polio, etc etc.
What is it now for expected vaccinations? 20? lol!!!!
Kindergarten-
5 doses of DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis) vaccine. Students with 4 doses of DTaP vaccine with the last dose on or after their 4th birthday are also included in this category.
4 doses of polio vaccine. Students with 3 doses of polio vaccine with the last dose on or after their 4th birthday are also included in this category.
2 doses of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine. Students with laboratory evidence of immunity to all three diseases are also included in this category.
3 doses of hepatitis B vaccine. Students with laboratory evidence of immunity are also included in this category.
2 doses of varicella vaccine. Students with a reliable history of chicken pox disease or laboratory evidence of immunity are also included in this category.
5 DTaP + 4 Polio + 2 MMR + 3 Hep B + 2 Varicella
Grade 7-
2 doses of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine. Students with laboratory evidence of immunity to all three diseases are also included in this category.
3 doses of hepatitis B vaccine. Students with laboratory evidence of immunity are also included in this category.
2 doses of varicella vaccine. Students with a reliable history of chickenpox disease or laboratory evidence of immunity are also included in this category.
1 dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis) vaccine.
1 dose MenACWY (formerly MCV4).
2 MMR + 3 Hep B + 2 Varicella + 1 Tdap + 1 MenACWY
and then the grade 12......and then before college...........
VAXX UP KIDDIES! It's the only way to keep you safe.

Utter craziness.
I'm so glad i repeatedly politely declined my young sons their (12 years) HPV vaccines the last two years. Nurse was wanting to give one a tetanus booster couple of months ago if i took him in for some stiches to a deep finger cut that occurred while at school - nope - ended up cleaning, dressing and using iodine/ betadine solution morning and night at home for a week until it closed. Wish i knew what i know now tho, and declined all their early childhood schedules here in NZ (from memory about 5-8 till 5 years).
HPV cancer is such a low risk for boys, something like 8% of males with hpv will supposedly go on to become cancerous as adults or something something. Risk does not outweigh potential for harm, imo.
I feel you. I was skeptical of vaccinations after many anecdotal experiences but I still had my oldest receive some (even though they were delayed until he was 4 and spaced out) b/c I thought he was going to school and needed them. I was afraid of dealing with DFS or something like that with refusal and schooling. Well, we homeschooled after all so it wasn't even necessary. At least my younger ones have had no vaxes but it tears me up that I let my oldest have some even though he is pretty much healthy. He did develop seasonal allergies to pollen during the next Spring which was the time of year when I had him initially vaxed. Consuming local honey in the Winter has alleviated the issues and at this point about a decade later he no longer has the seasonal allergies. Still makes me feel like shit that I hurt my child but there's nothing to do about it now so I try not to dwell on it.
Years ago I was pro-vax because I assumed that the FDA or somebody had performed long term randomized placebo controlled trials of the vaccines on the schedule. I was really shocked to learn they weren’t doing that. Their “placebos” are adjuvants (the ingredients often implicated in immune diseases related to the vaccines) and their studies of vaccine safety are 30 days. You cant tell if an infant has developed autism after 30 days. The FDA/CDC/NIH seems to be assiduously avoiding the studies that would put to bed any vaccine controversies for decades. I have to believe its because they already know the outcomes are bad.
The corporate machinery that promoted lies during covid was built up over decades to quell suspicions about MMR and other vaccines that may have been responsible for autism, crib death, anaphylaxis and many other health problems.
I’m a bit biased on this shit because my boomer fucktard parents ran me off to the shrink in 1976 and got me diagnosed as “hyperactive”. I was force-fed Ritalin for I think five years after that. I was the first generation to receive this abuse at the hands of a mother who couldn’t cope, still can’t, and a father who was so removed from his family due to work, that the pills made the wife and kid “okay”. The fucking cunts.
Fast forward and my little sister has a MS in behavioral sciences and works in the autism industry, has for 20 years. While she believes in autism, she also admits it’s a money hustle.
I agree that some percentage of kids with autism are purely behavioral. They have changed the definition to be so broad that darn near any kid could be classified. Like you said below, there is money to be made and more importantly, the diagnosis absolves the shitty parent. There are however legit cases where something is clearly not right and not a result of parenting.

Sometimes it is morally better to bear rather than share the burden.

ADHD can be associated with TV as a child. Autism - had read about underdeveloped neurons.
Anyhow it's becoming to common, something has to change

Those kids are called “retarded”, or used to be.
Then it became “developmentally disabled”.
It’s all horseshit!
