This is one of the first "antisemetic" depictions of jews. Do you goats notice anything strange? Discuss ...

This is from the following book: https://archive.org/details/the-devil-and-the-jews-the-medieval-conception-of-the-jew-and-its-relation-to-modern-anti-semitism/mode/2up

"Do you goats notice anything strange?"

What In the WORLD do you notice on there that is Not Strange!?

that is not Strange?

I agree on that. It seems like crazy shit. But ... when you look harder there are some interesting things.

1. They are drinking from the teets of a PIG. The word "murrano" comes to mind ...

2. They are depicted eating excriment (this is also a common theme in the pictures listed in the book mentioned).

3. No "star of david" ... more evidence that this was made up by rothschilds, or coopted by them, to pay homage to the idea of "alchemy" (which is what "money changers" actually practice).

It's bog standard medieval agitprop. The thing to note here is the catholic doing nothing to stop it.

Judensau

From your link:

The Judensau (Jew pig) is a popular cultural mainstay of German religious and institutional artwork created during and after the middle ages, and still proudly exhibited in cathedrals, churches and public buildings in Germany. Isolated examples also exist or existed in Austria, France, Belgium and Switzerland. It is a staple of anti-Semitism. It depicts Jews in obscene activities with a pig, sometimes in consort with the Devil, sometimes copulating with the pig or with pig faces, or eating pig excrement or suckling from the sow. It is often combined with depictions of the blood libel. The insult is based on the Jewish ritual prohibition against eating or touching pigs.

I found a book with a bunch of these over the span of 1000 years throughout europe. It seems a basis for the word "murrano", but I'm not certain ... still looking into this.
