Yeah I saw something recently that suggested like 70% of trucking accidents in the US occur with drivers "who aren't proficient in English". They'll make up any damned thing rather than admit it's stupid non-whites.

What's even worse is that up until two years ago, to get a CDL, you had to demonstrate understanding of every critical component and have proficiency in diagnosing/fixing the problems. It was a long checklist over 100 items. These are assorted things that you should check ranging from at least twice daily, to once a week or so. The ATA petitioned the FMCSA and DOT to get rid of these requirements because the dumb foreigners and native niggers were too stupid to learn and pass at the DMV... so they did drop this requirement. Now they can get their CDL at any license mill, ride with a trainer that doesn't give a fuck for a month, and get turned loose on the unsuspecting public.

I spotted for a nigger driving for Marten a while back not out of the goodness of my heart, but because she was blocking my exit path with her feeble attempts at backing to a door in a straight fucking line. Her air system had a critical leak and she'd have to build pressure every time she pulled up and attempted to reverse again. I told her that was a major hazard and that the DOT could fine the shit out of her for it and tag the truck out of service. I asked if she even knew where the leak was, and she had no idea. "Oh it started a few days ago". Bitch, find it and get it fixed.

You don't want to know how many stories I have like that. It's actually scary. This opens several more cans of worms about insurance safety mandates and pay scales, but that's a different topic.

Thanks for the first-hand experience. That sadly explains a few things. I used to enjoy driving but now it's generally in no way a relaxing endeavor.
I can't wait until we return to a meritocracy. Or caveman era. Either seems better than Current Times lol.

Well that's good I guess. We had three girls in my family and two knew how to do basic things and the third actually enjoyed cars more than the boys changing her oil etc. Different strokes for different folks but I still think everyone should be able to change a tire and jump a car and know how/when to maintain a car even if they don't do the work themselves.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the horror stories you read online. Remember that phrase "believe half of what you see and none of what you hear"? You let yourself be emotionally manipulated by these things.
You might be a horrible partner and that's good to be aware of but in no way does that mean you should extrapolate this to all men/women.
You could also find that the right woman/ having a child would melt your icy heart.

Both my parents and sister are narcissists. I'm glad my father is dead because that means he can't hurt me and make me question reality. My mother gambled all my father's money and our house away (estimated half a million dollars) and had the audacity to say years later that "that wasn't me." They were also passive and apathetic in raising children. I was late to kindergarten all the time. I had to learn how to tie my shoes from a classmate when I was a kid, because neither of my parents thought it important.

I have plenty of first-hand knowledge, lots of it locked up by my subconscious, none of it good. I'm an angry, bitter man, and have no intention of infecting someone with it. It would be nice to have a partner in life, but I'm broken, and refuse to ruin someone's life.

You should take pride in having survived, maybe even thrived, after your upbringing (or lack there of). You are angry and bitter but you are also intelligent, rational and well-spoken. I'm certain you have many other strengths and you are YOU b/c of your experiences, old and new.
Even the best parents are going to do shit to fuck up their kids, myself included, and we survive in spite of that. In hindsight my parents were amazing parents but they had/have serious flaws too. My siblings and I struggle with communicating b/c my parents were so shit at it. Especially if there is an emotional component. Just shove all that deep down until it explodes out. Very healthy lol. They are Religious and will never divorce but I'm not sure it would have been so bad if they did. My mom would not have had my brothers dicks cut off.
I urge you to really internalize what you already recognize. You father is dead and gone and can't hurt you now unless you let him. You may enjoy work by Eckert Tolle or others who teach how to be in the present moment. I struggle with this myself from time to time. In some ways I envy the 15-second nigger. I find when I am feeling anxious it's b/c my mind is too much in the future. When I am depressed it is usually b/c I am dwelling in the past. And no I don't feel happy/satisfied all the time. This world is so fucked it is impossible to ignore it all but when it becomes too much I shrink down to my smaller world (family) for refuge.

I guess he would be classified as self-help. I was more suggesting of looking into the idea of "present moment". I came across one of his lectures a few years ago and it was pretty impactful. I hadn't realized how much I was living in the past.

I guess your experiences as the child technically would count as first-hand but you weren't able to give consent about your participation in the relationship so I think it's different than actually being married, good or bad.

Anyway, I do agree a state contracted relationship potentially sucks but for many people a partnership makes life a lot more enjoyable. Maybe you are trying to warn others with your comments but the way you often phase things makes me feel like you are looking for personal validation.

I am not trying to be mean or assume but I think a lot of childless people are not satisfied because they haven't finished "humaning" yet. Reproduction is one of the ways we classify life. You don't have to be married to be a father. I know you've mentioned the reasons you don't want to/ shouldn't have a kid but still my two cents.
