Lazy Cleaning Pro Tips

Cleaning your stove should be done concurrently with making something in an oven.

The reasoning is that the stove becomes hot and solid oils and fats liquefy. So you can just use a few paper towels to effortlessly wipe it off.

Another tip is that dirty dishes should be loaded directly into the dishwasher, not placed into the sink.

By utilizing these tips you can maximize the time you don't spend cleaning.

I always put dirty dishes right in the dishwasher, I don't even rinse the plates, the machine does that for me. Food can be totally dried on, the machine still gets everything squeaky clean.

I do the same. Rinsing the filter is quicker than rinsing a bunch of dishes.

It's a Viking model 665. Really old and shitty and loud, but still gets dishes clean.

id honestly just rather do it myself. i really dont know what the fuck problem people have with doing dishes for a family. a big ass party where you gotta clean up afterwards a different matter but if youre doing that often enough that its a regular pain in the ass maybe have less parties.

but my first job was a hungry jacks right in the middle of melbourne, which was washing the dishes from fuckin... thousands of people! so to clean up after one meal.... fuck, wheres the rest of it?

also if you have those grease spots on your cabinet and stove that are set in wheel and tire cleaner gets them out.

I had water spots on my car from a sprinkler some years ago, Used an acid based wheel cleaner to remove them. Then I had hard water buildup around my bathroom sink faucets when I replaced them. I let that shit soak in the wheel cleaner for like 3 days while attacking it with plastic scrapers.

Agree ("Washing them as you go makes it even faster."). It might take some of the afterglow out of eating a meal but it certainly reduces the elbow grease needed to wash dishes with hardened on food smears. My apparently better-half half fills her used bowl with water and lets it stand until the washing-up is to be done (meaning there's a risk of spillage) but if she simply cleaned her bowl/plate with a wet tissue while the food residue was warm and soft it makes washing the utensil a lot easier.
