This is basically the same threat as a nuclear ICBM except more fucused, and the US no longer conforms to the ABM treaty. I don't know what the US has in its black arsenal and neither do you but I bet in a genuine slugfest Russia would be in trouble.

Bullshit conclusions. A nuke from Russia would lead to the end of Russia. The US regular missiles do well enough. We have surface skimming and stealth missiles that can't be shot down.
