Does Pepsi (or other soft drinks ) contain aborted baby cells?

submitted by AugustineOfHippo2 to AskUpgoat 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 09:34:40 ago (+11/-1)     (AskUpgoat)

I saw a video (lost the link) that claimed some ingredients in soft drinks are derived from aborted baby cells.
Is this a retarded flat earth type of claim, or is there any validity to it?

YES! If that will cure your addiction to sugar water drinks.

But as I remember, it was something like aborted baby cells were used to develop an initial flavor, without the actual cells or parts from aborted babies in food or drinks.

This article goes into more details, to include whether baby parts are used in vaccines and perfumes too.

https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/test-you-asked/it-true-perfumes-contain-aborted-fetal-tissue

The idea that companies like Pepsi and Kraft were using aborted fetuses as flavour additives was popularized by an article on the infamously pseudoscientific site Natural News in 2015. They wrote that some processed foods contained “various flavoring agents manufactured using the tissue of aborted human babies.”
Strictly speaking, this isn’t a lie. But it is a misrepresentation. Senomyx, an American biotechnology company develops flavour enhancers for use in food products. To test these enhancers, they used taste receptors expressed in the HEK 293 cell line, which was generated from the kidney cells of a fetus aborted in 1973.

Yeah, that's not normal.

Why is anyone, ever making "flavours" from murdered babies?

[ - ] PostWallHelena 2 points 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 12:02:08 ago (+2/-0)

The cell line, HEK293 (Human Embryonic Kidney) , is a good proxy for human taste receptors. It can “taste” sweet.

Why the fuck is that needed?

It is not.

I agree. Its totally degenerate. But you wanted to know why.

What I want is thousands of cultists swinging from gallows.

To get as many people as possible complicit with baby murder? Approved by the Pope though, so Catholics are 'pre-forgiven'.

Please provide a reference to "approved by the pope".

I did in the comment you just replied to.

The abortions in question are so far removed from today’s vaccines that even the Catholic Church deems it allowable to use them.

From the documents you link:

"The use of vaccines whose production is con-
nected with procured abortion constitutes at least a
mediate remote passive material cooperation to the
abortion"

"Therefore, doctors and fathers of families have a
duty to take recourse to alternative vaccines"

"As regards the diseases against which there are no
alternative vaccines which are available and ethi-
cally acceptable, it is right to abstain from using
these vaccines if it can be done without causing chil-
dren, and indirectly the population as a whole, to
undergo significant risks to their health. However,
if the latter are exposed to considerable dangers to
their health, vaccines with moral problems pertain-
ing to them may also be used on a temporary basis"

Quite different than your "exemption" above.

Some Catholics, including some conservative U.S. bishops and cardinals, have claimed vaccines based on research that used cells derived from aborted fetuses were immoral, and have refused to get the jabs.

The Vatican's doctrine office, however, has said it is "morally acceptable" for Catholics to receive COVID-19 vaccines based on research that used cells derived from aborted fetuses. Francis and Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI have been fully vaccinated with Pfizer-BioNTech shots. - https://www.npr.org/2022/01/10/1071785531/on-covid-vaccinations-pope-says-health-care-is-a-moral-obligation

Sector2 is right. There were no dead baby parts going directly into the drink. The biotech company hired by pepsi to create new flavors used aborted fetal tissue in their process. Pepsi fired them after it was exposed.

Remember when we had to make stem cell research legal so they could cure cancer? Lol guess babies have to die for soda pop.

Thank you.

Did some further research and found this article from 2012:

The fucked up thing is they could have just paid someone to taste the shit for them instead of having this elaborate franken-baby-parts thing taste it for them.

Which probably means the whole thing was done for research purposes not related to making soda.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 1 point 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 18:05:11 ago (+1/-0)

Yeah one would think that would be more practical.

[ - ] Niggly_Puff 7 points 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 09:53:59 ago (+7/-0)

They use corn syrup because they are too cheap to pay for sugar. You think they would deal with the cost and logistics of putting aborted baby cells in their product? It's prosperous. What you should be worried about are the "vaccines" they can infuse into food.

[ - ] VitaminSieg 3 points 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 10:42:19 ago (+3/-0)

But 'vaccines' a) contain aborted cancerous baby cells, and b) are costly, and you think they still do it? If it has religious significance, they'll do it, even seeing it as a sacrifice.

[ - ] HonkyMcNiggerSpic 0 points 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 12:03:44 ago (+0/-0)

Pepsi tastes like dead nigger babies

[ - ] GodDoesNotExist 0 points 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 11:32:19 ago (+0/-0)

I would drink some if so mmm aborted baby cells.

Contains phosphoric acid which eats away the liner of your mouth.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 2 points 5 monthsNov 27, 2024 12:04:26 ago (+2/-0)

I think the big problem with phosphoric acid is it leaches calcium out of your body .

It's excellent for lowering the pH of nutrient water for your plants.
