Mental health issues are very common among those of mixed ancestry and incompatible cultures. I haven't seen the LAX parking facility footage showing the father leaping to his death, but not everything is ever as it seems. Other articles I've read on this matter highlight that Mr. Kobayashi is a very active traveler. Whether this is due to business, pleasure, or both I couldn't say.
However, with what I understand of this incident, the only way this becomes organic to me is when I consider that either organized crime or international intelligence agencies were involved in this affair.
