Streetlights are psychologically one of the worst things to ever happen to mankind, and in recent years have become much, much worse.
You see, until recently (in the great span of all time), creatures of this world, including humans enjoyed cycles of day and night. Night is a blessing, a time of renewal and reward for the toils of the day. You are treated to an absence of survival stimuli, and a beautiful panorama of all of the cosmos, right above your head.
jews brought the niggers, and sold mankind on the idea that lighting up the night with artificial light somehow provides "security" from the threat the niggers that they themselves thrust upon us.
Streetlights are marketed as "safety" devices. The premise being that they deter crime somehow, but they don't explain how that works. Streetlights, in reality, illuminate YOU as a target to the criminals hiding in the shadows. The glare from all the lighting puts you at a disadvantage to seeing the dangers that lurk.
Streetlights also destroy everyone's right to privacy, as more and more cameras appear on everyone's doorstep and traffic intersection, the desire for MORE LIGHTS follows.
Now we're in the L.E.D. lighting age, which is an absolute travesty for mankind. I could write an entire book on the dangers of LED lights, but quickly here are the main points:
A) LED lights are dangerously high in short-wave blue light which is damaging to the cones in your retina, especially at night when your biological programming has told your iris to open up to allow more light in.
B) Aside from the physiological danger stated above, psychologically your brain has trouble entering into a rest state. It throws off circadian rhythms that we need for healthy state of mind and body.
C) LED lights are just plain fucking ugly to look at, as well as painful to look at.
D) Skyglow from all the goddamn lighting has forever removed our ability to see the milky way, the cradle of all the life in our galaxy. They don't want you to appreciate that you are tiny part of a massive galactic being. They want to be your god.

Can I add to the street lights not deterring crime? And also include yard lights?
As a former criminal (teenage vandal) who has done things in the middle of the night that the law and public did not want me to do, I can tell you that the public illuminating the night so you can operate is quite convenient.
It also makes the outdoors so plesent at night that its not that strange to go out of a walk at night. Which means a criminal can blend in. This means criminals can walk around and case out cars.
Smarter for deterring crime is making it so dark that you can't see your hand in front of your face. Make them walk around with a flash light if they want to see to make it obvious. Make it so they can't walk in your back yard without tripping over something.
