humans can see 100% of the VISIBLE light spectrum.
some animals and electro optics operate in the INFRARED which is HIGHER frequency electromagnetism and we cant see it at all as it is outside the "Visible" spectrum. it is not 'visible' as 'visible' here means specifically 'visible to humans' not machines animals or anything else. its relative.
we can only see 380-700 nm of wavelength of the ELECTROMAGNETIC spectrum... a metric fuckton less than 1% of THAT spectrum.
Infrared has a longer wavelength and lower frequency than visible light. It travels farther than visible light, but with less energy. Ultraviolet has a shorter wavelength and higher frequency. It travels shorter distances than visible light but with higher energy.

visible.

And there’s so much more light I’d like to see from a Black light in my stoner friend’s basement.
And, oh, to be blinded by the flickering of cell phone towers!
