Doesn't seem consistent with faith.

Most Christians are partial-preterists by default, as most believe at least some of what was written in revelation has already happened.

The doctrine of full-preterism is based on ignoring the doctrines of multiple/double fulfillment.

That is; the idea that the prophecies of the Bible have already been fulfilled and to not have another fulfillment.

This too I believe is against the word of God, as we are still continuing on, Jesus having not yet returned to judge all the living and the dead, and God's word says it will be with us until the end.

Just as he quoted:
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 5:17-18

The kingdom is among us now; The Old Covenant has passed away, yet we've not received our perfected bodies yet, so it's not yet the end.

That being said, 'newspaper eisegesis' is also not a sound way to interpret the Bible.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. - 2 Timothy 2:15
