This is retarded. Of course it exists. That's like saying a mile or a kilogram don't exist. You can measure time. It can even be used to measure things. Yes, the way we divide up a year into 12 blocks is semi-arbitrary but a year is still a thing.

Right. Things change. Time isn't the important part. That's just a measure of the duration required for a change to occur that is important. People long ago realized that there was some crazy shit in the sky that recurred on a periodic basis. The simplest was night and day, which at one time was about a lot more than trying to get the recommended 8 hrs. In the most general way, we recognize there's no coming back. The arrow of time moves forward. You don't get to undo fuck-ups.

Change is real. You can measure it however you'd like, but there are more and less retarded ways.

Apt might be more accurate than true.
Time is the name we give to the locomotive concept empowering universal motion, it is reflected in that rotation and that orbit though it is not represented by them. As we became aware of it, we gave it a name.
We accept that it exists because it can be demonstrated to have properties unto itself in that it behaves differently when measured under different conditions and because the essential nature of what it imparts remains irrespective of our subjective involvement.
