Yes and no. Deaths of despair were super common in nursing homes during lockdown. That's basically what they're referring to. It's super fucked up too. You got some old guy lived his whole damn life, raised a family, fuckin experienced the world and he dies pretty much alone. Maybe there's a rude nigger there to bring him shitty food or wipe his ass, but he's not allowed to see his kids, wife, or grandkids. So yeah, he dies alone. Sad and lonely, and really not understanding how it got so bad so quickly.
Shit's fucked, I'm surprised more people aren't fucking sickened by this. Oh by the way, did ya see the big sports ball game?

All joking aside, I have seen this happen with couples who have been together for 50+ years. One dies and then a week later the other dies. Fucking weird.
