Yeah, buncha fat office workers pushing paper around all day wasting tax-payer's money trying to pretend to be intimidating using an ooga-booga dance from literal shitskin tribes too stupid to invent the wheel.
THE NZ defence force is essentially honorary since the 1950s, they rely on Australia for pretty much everything. They have no military air force assets, their army is full of fat queers, their best navy warships are used for surveying end up beaching themselves on South Pacific atolls. They have the highest-level senior appointment of officers from a foreign military of any organisation. At this stage they are closer to a dance troupe than a military organisation. Join the NZDF to learn dance choreography and be given a costume. I am shocked they aren't a fixture in the Rock Eisteddfod at this point.
Not at all. The reason why they oogba booga was to get individual braves to work up the courage to actually step out of the huddle and into the enemies (every single person outside of the tribe) range to be hurt.
Very low casualties, very quick to flee. Where casualties mounted was when they raided the undefended.
And.. when white man gave them muskets. They would fight and not emotionally link musket balls with threat of death. So died in huge numbers. And Maori men were all their farmers. So famine came which bred disease.
The capitulation to the crown saved their species to our overall lament.
Because I've met many decent Maori I can only assume it's due to their massive dose of white blood.
The real threat from Maori bioweapons is due to iwi indoctrination that united the worst ferals then brain washed them to hate whites through lying about history. Usual bs of false victim hood.

Iwi indoctrination is partly due to Maori selling out their own when cutting deals with the Crown. The Crown wasn't entirely honest about the history either, there are stories of disease being spread intentionally by infected supplies like what happened to some American Indians.
Typically the less advanced culture is doesn't fare as well when cultures collide, and the anti-white agenda of the globalists plays right into the hands of Maori radicals.

All Inter-tribal close combat conflicts are brutal by default. Bravely and aggression in combat among males was a perquisite in most tribal cultures around the world.
There is some nuance (not that it really matters) - but lots of smaller weaker tribes allied with (and fought alongside) the crown for protection from the larger/ stronger tribe depredations. Māori were not a monolithic people - they were largely independent operating tribal groups, sharing a common culture/ language.
Introduction of muskets massively increased the kill/ death ratio's almost completely wiping out/ devastating many sub-tribes/ large family groups overnight.
Disease and death from hardship, illness still prevailed.
The realization was a 'peaceful resolution' had to be struck, or they would simply either eventually exterminate themselves through musket driven inter-tribal conflict/ or slowly be worn down over time by the continual arrival of greater numbers/ resources and armaments of the British Empire forces and become a forgotten side blip in history.
The modern take on treaty principles (pushed by academics and extremists) ignores that the treaty signatory chiefs, very clearly understood they gave up sovereignty/ Governing rights to the Crown - they all voted for Parliamentary MPs to represent them and their people's interests before the Crown.
EDIT: It's also why a huge amount also turned to Christianity (learnt English and how to read, write) as they recognized it as a better more beneficial system for the individual and community.

Brutal was probably an understatement. Captives were sometimes kept to be eaten later and heads were traded as a commodity. It's true that Maori recognised the benefits of the settlers' culture.
The sovereignty issues aren't straightforward. Maori sought the protection of the Crown which made them subordinate and not sovereign, but the English drafted the treaty so the language of tino rangatiratanga should be interpreted against the Crown's interests (contra proferentem). The treaty said that Maori would have the same rights as English subjects, which implies recognition of the natural rights of English common law.

No, not every maori, mostly only the extremists outside of being 'mandated' for events for many Govt organizations. (Police, Armed forces, Fire service etc, special occasions, functions, welcoming of dignitaries).
Although 'everyone' is taught/ exposed to this bs in school and before sports. I'm so glad when i was in school , it was still fortunately an underfunded hobby' option. Now school principals and administrators (and Govt department heads) have to open every school assembly, letter, email, meeting etc with a short maori prayer, greeting or acknowledgement.

Māori chiefs traveled to meet King William IV in 1831 to negotiate sovereignty issues and later a treaty was signed with most of the tribes.

Germ theory came after unsubstantiated, anti white, hate claims that whites spread disease.
The only crime the crown did was the undoable promise of facilitating land sales.
Who owned the land?
The maori farmer working the land?
How was that farmer supposed to go through the crown acweeks travel away on foot, no roads?
One white settler posted on a local rag for the owner of a block of land to come forward .
50 Maori responded.
"Its my land since my grandfather killed another Maori on this land.
"Its my land because my grandfather was killed on that land"
But the real cause of the nz civil war was that iwi assumed that they owned all the land and not individual Maori.
It was literally oligarch thug maori fighting to enslave Maori as chattel.

Yes, the same rights (and protections) as an English subject - under the Sovereign Authority of the King (British Crown).
