If you look at temp cycles, were heading into an ice age. Global freezing. Although I can't see how the pole position plays into it, if the 2 are even related.

From this illustration, its plausible electronics won't work very well in a few hundred years, once exposed directly to solar winds so we might have that to look forward to. It can't come fast enough if you ask me.

We're partway through a pole flip, and I suppose the magnetic regions are swapping unevenly. The intensity will probably never hit actual zero, instead magnetic North will likely wander its way down the the South.
