You know I really believe that they should not allow anybody to teach kids if they don't have kids of their own. I think the people who don't have kids of their own who are attracted to teaching are really attracted for all the wrong reasons and I don't mean sexually at all I just mean they want to impress on those other people's kids something that will not be good for the kids. But if you have kids of your own you're not going to want to do that to other people's kids. You know everybody used to have kids so teachers always had kids of their own. This thing where women don't have kids is a new phenomenon and so having teachers who don't have kids is a new phenomenon. What's also new is the requirements that they have that teacher have people have teaching degrees you used to be able to be a regular citizen with a regular job and you can quit your job and go teach and the schools love the fact that before you were teaching you are a regular person and a regular person was smart enough to learn the curriculum for anything from physics to homeack to be able to teach kids without a whole teaching degree. we need to eliminate the requirement to have a teaching degree to be a teacher it's ridiculous. In fact I think it's counterproductive in many ways.
