actually, thats more possible then you think if the US leaves

accounting for percentage, the military of NATO is the purely the US military and other countries adding some pocket change and perhaps some pocket lint if theyre feeling cheap.

It's been like that forever! The US is a nanny country, all we do is wipe every other countries ass, and do the heavy lifting that they are either unwilling to do, or, incapable of doing!

It was only ever meant to be a drain and a drag on the US.

With the US out and both it's purpose and funding gone, it will dry up and blow away on it's own.

It will never disappear entirely, of course, no NGO ever does, but it will just be a historical place marker, like the League of Nations.

Now do NATO and the UN.

Bring ALL the troops home and put them at close interval along the southern border, and bulldoze that fucking monstrosity into Turtle Bay.
