I hate that shit. Some saying, some general saying people say to you. Strangers like to say it. “It’s get better” it doesn’t. It gets worse. People tell you to keep your head up. I hate that shit. Another one is “everything happens for a reason.” Oh is that what it is? Some higher power just looking out for me? It’s never gonna get better. It’s always going to get worse. The only change that’s gonna happen is it’s going to get worse and when you think you’re at the bottom guess what fuck you

Last time someone said to me I painted them a mental image of a graph in which the line of how things are is getting progressively worse over a period of over a decade and then asked them that if they were betting money if they would bet that the line would randomly go up or if the line would continue its trajectory they were speechless it was a cashier at wendys

Anything that isn’t growing is dying - and it sounds like you’ve been dead for a long time.

Get a career you like, start a business with a best friend, take great care of your family and friendships, buy your wife some flowers, go get a second job if you have debts weighing you down, and start pumping iron.

You will not regret my advice.

There are books out there written by people older, wiser, and wealthier. Many of them have written books sharing their wisdom. Less tv and video games and more books.
