A very significant number of women only care about adopting patterns that they think will give them external support because they are week and afraid. The other side just did a better job using neuro-linquistic programming to give them meaningless verbal rewards of supportive intent every time they spoke like that. Eventually they maximized the behavior that resulted in that reward. It's not a belief. It's just a learned behavior.
