Whole point of a bone marrow transplant is to transplant a different immune system into your body. Ideally it's one that will replace the immune system that has gone haywire to give you leukemia or lymphoma. So when you're replacing your immune system with someone else's you're going to end up with DNA and genetic material from the other person and it's going to travel throughout your body. And since the bone marrows were most stem cells are made and most cells of any type are going to become chimeric meaning they're going to have both the DNA of yours and the same organ or group of cells will also then have some other cells that have the DNA of the donor person. Now no cell is going to have both DNA in the same cell but you'll have groups of cells that are one way and the other way. Just like a conure cat can have half a face that's white and half face that's black and be actually two people in fact many people are unknowingly conmeric having absorbed a twin in their gestation period so they have the DNA of their twin in their body without having any physical manifestation of the twin. This is why oddly enough DNA test can sometimes exonerate a criminal who actually did the crime if they take the DNA from the wrong place in their body.

all of the DNA in his semen was the donor’s DNA

I call bullshit. Sorry. Theres no reason why his sperm should be replaced. The donor DNA in his blood is obvious, but they did not transplant his testicles. He may have trace donor DNA in cheek scrapings but his skin has not been replaced with donor skin. This is not right.

It makes sense, marrow is a type of stem cell that is more specialised into blood production so there could be unspecialised cells floating about to fix other organ damage as well I don't really know.

If anything this is amazing news for potential life expectancy extension seen as DNA gets damaged in cells the more times it's replicated.

Time to become a serial rapist I guess. How does this donor guy keep raping women from jail??

DNA chimerism comes in many forms, it seems.
