That sounds about right. 1/3 of us die from heart disease, 1/3 of us die from cancer. 1/3 of us die from all the other reasons.
2 bill a year is high, but 2 mil a year is way low. Only 60-70-ish million world wide die a year.


Thats been the rough numbers in the "western world" for the last 20 years or so, give or take a few percent points each year.

Something like 90% of people will get some kind of cancer. Most of those people will never know they have it, it won't impact their life in any meaningful way.
