So I saw an extremely cringey Kamala (probably Kamala-PAC) ad on YouTube involving Warhammer 40K. I clicked through it, but then I figured it would be good to post somewhere for a laugh. I can't find it.

It was with firefox forks and uBlock origin that I had the recurring issues with. It happens, something changes and you need new filters. I very much doubt anyone who says they never had an ad creep through. Even combined with piholes/DNS changes, adblocking is always a reactionary process and eventually something will slip through.

I switched to Brave a while ago and it has been much more reliable.

Youtube is the worst for ads, Firefox has blocked everything there. I actually forgot there was ads on it till I used a friends iPhone

They just started unblockable ads for me a few weeks ago. I think none on smaller channels, for the most part. It's pretty annoying to have to quickly click any link, then right click and 'back'. That's worked for every video but one, where the ad HAD to be watched before the video would play. (and it was fucking obama)
