submitted by anon to askanon 6 monthsNov 3, 2024 14:09:13 ago (+3/-0)     (askanon)

Hello esteemed fucktards. I need sound advice on how to invest Money in the best possible way thar would give me the most return.
I know some of you are very smaahrt with personal finance. I want opinions on investing 20k, 50k, and 100k.

I want to make maximum profit and want to know my options both short term and long term with minimum to moderate risk.
Options online just show bonds, eta, high interest bank accounts. The interest is not high enough on any of them especially the safest options.
I don’t know I’m a noob and lost. Please help a fellow brother outo

#1 Don't spend it on useless shit.
#2 Spend it on shit that will save you money.
#3 Spend it on shit that will make you money.
#4 Repeat.

Can you give examples of number three?

#1 Tools of the trade (if you're a welder, a welding machine, if you're a baker, a mixer, mechanic, power ratchet)
#2 Things that keep you working (that power ratchet is nice, eye pro, comfortable chairs/back support if you drive)
#3 Things that get you healthy (good food; things that don't have seed oils, artificial sweeteners and fake (enriched) flour) It may seem like it's basic intuition, but you pay for bad health. I guess this could go in 'Spend it on shit that will save you money' but eating healthy isn't always cheap, depending on were you are in your journey and location.
#4 Education (books, courses that you'll finish)
#5 Yourself. Invest in yourself and know there is a God above, and all these things will be added unto you if you seek the Kingdom of God first. Shameless faith plug, because I believe it. God bless.

no load, indexed mutual fund. Vanguard.

It's the safest, most easily transferable and cleanest out there. You should get a return of 5-8%

Start with a scalable business. An active investment will take much of your time but you can then spend that profit in real estate. It will take many years but these timeframes have a half-life.

If your wages are dogshit, invest time in seeking another job or return to school for a valuable trade. You can do this while running your business and working a job.

Spend $15 a month on an audible account and purchase books written by men who have built great wealth for themselves. You get what you pay for and those books will hold much more knowledge and wisdom than these comments. When I wanted to understand sales and marketing, I binged books written on the subject by professionals. When I wanted to learn how taxes worked, I sought those books. When I wanted to start a business, I looked for books written by business owners.

Just buy whatever BlackRock, Bill Gates, or Nancy Pelosi buys. There are entire stock trackers designed to do just that.

Aren’t a lot of people doing this? I wonder how much risk it entails?

The only risk would be in your personal exposure, and in the public not learning about the trades fast enough. Spend more than you can afford and that sucks for you. But particularly, if their trades happen secretly and no one notices in time for the crash, there could be losses.
