Almost 9 months sober and suddenly I kind of want to drink. I usually drink beer but I want to drink the hard shit to go to another world for a few days.

It's got to be the election. I've been feeling nervous when I'm out in public. I know anything stronger than Wine tends to produce a pretty Supernatural effect on me and I wouldn't mind that at all. The threat of losing my sobriety is not really that profound. I've already healed my organs pretty well and I do plan to get sober after a bender but I know I probably won't. It will be too much fun and I will want to keep doing it.

Maybe ill take the hit of LSD ive had since 2020. I would probably take it half at a time because I know I will want to do it again after the first time. What would really be cool is a source of good LSD. This is some dark web shit that is probably synthetic. I think I'm going to eat this acid

Unless you stored that LSD in the freezer, it's probably not that effective.

Also, go ahead and drink. It's not going to have a lasting effect unless you resume drinking regularly and heavily.

Well, that's a medical viewpoint. If you're mentally unsure, don't drink. You don't have to 'quit again tomorrow', you have to not drink tomorrow. Addiction, at least physical addiction, doesn't work like that.

Probably because you stopped smoking? You are looking for entertainment. Treat yourself to responsible entertainment - favorite activity, hobby, something. Do not be too critical of yourself while you remove dependencies. Just keep not doing the thing.
