i dont hate the thought of doing that by choice, i think it would be kind of a cool experience as long as im not stuck there.
i do hate the thought of being forced to do that for whatever reason or the possibility of someone turning around one day and asking me for an exit permit, then being told fuck you you can get that on the fourth floor, get back inside before i shoot you.
thats why i made the very clear distinction between actual choice or not. im not down with lockdown. if its built like a chinese iphone factory complete with biometrics and self sealing door and shit you can shove that up your ass but if i go full retard idealist on you and pretend for a minute that will never happen or be possible and that it just is exactly what it is, a city in a building, if someone handed me a set of keys and said 'free apartment, go nuts' im not going to argue. seems like a pretty cool anonymous bolthole if used right.
dont get me wrong id probably be fucking over it within a week but my dad grew up in a housing commission flat, and his mum and brother stayed in exactly that place until they both passed well after him, spent plenty of christmases at nanas too, so im kind of used to VISITING purpose built apartment blocks (and dont get me started on the stories we used to hear from DHS security guards of the shenanigans that still go on there) and having managed a high end block next to housing commission flats... the fucking retards that rent apartments in high end buildings are fucking magnitudes worse behaved than housos at times. at least housos dont pretend to have a right to shit in your spa. rich cunts think they have the right to do shit like, put their own locked gates on fire exits (not, going in to 'their floor' but literally gates between floors on public access fire stairways), or cut out bits of sprinkler systems or walls because 'i bought it'
