Aside from the pun accuracy here is an FYI, the US Canada International Joint Commission, committee overseeing management of the 5 Great Lakes, rules that the common plebe can sift/pan for gold along the lake shores and can have in their possession a quarter oz of element, I do believe that weight is in "TROY" measurement ie 31grms to an oz opposed to 28grms...the gold is predominantly found in the black silt streaks of the beach sand that are formed by flows of subsurface spring water trickling from inland to the big lakes, gold is best recovered after heavy rain or spring melt down. It's good quality family time spent in a day...being out in nature on a shoreline playing in the sand is more productive than anything the commercial world of consumerism can offer...just so you know.

That's why it's protected land. The "elites" are saving gold reserves for the future.
