It's based on what people click on. People can upload what they want (free speech) and people click on what they want. Then there are no biases in the algorithm. It just makes a suggestion based on what people clicked either before or after seeing that page. Agency is up to the users not the site. So the site didn't do anything. The users did.

You can always use the /img/ version of the url to get a plain multi-host, but the /i/ page also exists for people who want to explore.

If people click the other images it will suggest those instead. But the advantage of the site is that it is a multi-host so if catbox gets shitty or pomf or any of the others it can figure that out and serve the version that's working. In theory you also can seed an image with suggestions by clicking on things, but that's anyone's call on what they want to do vs using /img/ pages.

But apparently a saucy image of lily from the AT&T commercials is what voaters want to look at because it's what they clicked on. But no one is admitting that in the comments.

It's likely to establish some sort of keylogger on your phone. A lot of porn sites do this. Once you click the image it deploys an payload that starts monitoring your key stroked but not showing up in a normal operating scenario of the phone. This data is then collected and sold.
