Why in the fuck does the escape character \ not work anymore. And why the fuck doesn't the "formatting help" thing not show whatever gay thing we have to do to use use an escape character?

A couple of those will switch characters in the ~t̶e̶s̶t̶~ text you're wanting to affect.

Old voat used to have pretty great format help, like spoilers, tables, and some exotic stuff too.
