If elderly people took up cycling it might make them better car drivers? As a cyclist you need good reflexes and good spatial awareness and good judgement generally.
Shouldn't have been behind the wheel. My wife's dissertation was about cognitive decline in geriatric drivers. I don't know the specifics, and she ain't one to talk, but it's her opinion that there should be annual road exams for all drivers over the age of sixty five. When you factor just age related decline in with the amount and variety of medications older people take it's absolutely crazy that this is something that's largely ignored.

In NZ it is 75. Every 2 years, a medical certificate from the GP is required with license renewal and a road test iirc.. with all the vaxx tards running loose, it totally should be 65.
