my beautiful cactus flower got...more beautiful. It opened!

at least I think it's a cactus. If tulip-grower @boekanier wasn't so busy selling his country's secrets to Russia he could inform us!

Yes it's quite stunning and unusually (?) for a gnarly plant it's a soft-to-touch flower. Its innards have iridescent colours blue/purple.
