Paul Di'Anno of Iron Maiden fame passed away today

While he only sang on Maiden's first two albums, his presence will continue to be felt for many decades. Those are some of the most important albums in metal history, really raising the bar a hell of a lot for what people can do.

I was lucky to see Maiden at OzzFest 2005. They stoled the show, my friends and I left after 5 songs from Black Sabbath to beat the traffic.

The band were shit on by Sharon and had shit thrown at them at a few shows.
