what is working as a land surveyor like?

The surveyor I deal with the most seems happy enough. The ones I deal with are mostly doing work related to construction not residential stuff.

They seem to stand around a lot. Probably a lot of "time outers" on the crews.

Don't fuck up. Its a job "that counts" Fuck up a survey and 10's of thousands or even 100's of thousands are on the line and it's on you.

It also takes a bit of smarts. Mathz and all.

Also land owners get super freaked out about property lines and such. Its always a random toss whether one freaks out.
