Kids say the darnedest things - "Woke Armor"

"Woke Armor" - My daughter used this term to me this evening and I could not be more proud. The context was that she was complaining about a teacher at school. She contends that the teacher is not teaching the course material. She complains that today the teacher started a new subject but last week there was a test that had questions on that subject before it was ever taught to the class... I took issue with that one and said I would complain to the principal. My daughter said "No Dad! They will not do ANYTHING! She is trans! She has Woke Armor!"

That one phrase demonstrated a depth of understanding that made me smile.

I am amazed by the number of useless people in this thread that assume that the influence of a parent is somehow less than the influence of a teacher. You really believe that your child will ignore your guidance and follow the teacher blindly? If so then you are failing at parenting. The job of a parent is to prepare your child for the dangers of the world. Too often modern society thinks this means sheltering the child from any exposure to bad things. Well the fact is that the world is filled with bad things and you can't keep the kids locked away from the world. You must expose them to the evils of the world and then guide them through how to deal with those evils.

Your daughter's oratory talents notwithstanding, I'd still register a complaint. Be sure to use the teacher's preferred pronouns and Mr./Miss/Mrs./Ms. title, but be assertive. Maybe it won't lead to anything, but if complaints about the teacher accumulate, you'll have contributed to the paper trail.

THe schools were lost back in the 1970's after they strted alternative schools. THey were based on a pedophiile luciferian theosophy cult guy named Summerhill. THey tried setting them up in Germany in the 1920's and wer chased out so they moved them to Btitain.

That Bill ayers and his jew pig wife set them up starting in Chicago in the 1960's. A lot of what they were doing was folded into the universal teacher training, so private schools get it too. Anyone with a teaching degree is messed up permanently.

I don't know if kids understanding that is a huge step forward. Kids get it. How can they not considering it shapes the world they live in every day, likely more than it shapes ours. The problem is that kids end up jealous of the woke armor. That's how wokism spreads.

Kids noticing that trans get a free pass on everything doesn't make kids that are red-pilled on trans. It makes more "trans kids". Sadly that is the inconvenient reality.

Yeah, you make real points... but recognizing the problem is by necessity the first step to fixing a problem. I think this is progress.

...and I have little fear that my daughter will turncoat out of jealousy over the special privileges trans get. This is the same girl who a few weeks ago while we were shopping used cars for her to drive to high school said "No Dad! I CANNOT get a Subaru outback! Outbacks are known as lesbian cars!"

Didn’t you meet her/him/it yet? I dont want to tell you how to raise your kid. But letting her spend all day in a classroom run by a tranny would be a bridge too far for me. Hope you find a better solution.

You do not really get Parent/Teacher conferences in High School these days. In elementary school and middle school you kid has a homeroom teacher that teaches most subjects and you can meet one person. In HS your child will have a different teacher for every subject and unless there is an issue you will likely only ever talk to the teachers via email. But yes, now that I know this we are deeply concerned and are looking for options

Have your kid record the teacher. Don't give one you know what if it is legal or not. You will know what that troon is teaching.

I unfortunately live in a 2-party consent state. Said video recording would only be used to convict me of violating the state wiretap law. I do know what it must be teaching but a video would only help it and imprison me.

Look up some supreme court cases about right to privacy vs parental rights. Remove your children from any school district that employs trannies in any capacity. I suggest that you also talk to other parents whose children go to that school.

You are mistaken. There is case law precedent at the circuit level and in some state SCs such as South Carolina v. Whitner. These is no court precedent that would apply to all states which would indicate a parent can ignore wiretap laws when it involves their children.
