This weapon isn't that strong. Its bottleneck is your grip strength on relatively smooth metal with only a few grooves on it. This is not a very high energy device and sans you getting lucky and getting a direct hit on an artery this is not going to kill anyone and definately not a pig.
It could seriously maim someone, but they'll probably live after going to the hospital. And if they have enough adrenaline they'll probably manage to kill you in response before going to that hospital.
