@glooper ....these guys are family after a quarter century, they're completely fucked now because they've become domesticated but I didn't start this game, they did and now we're stuck with each other...as for your cougar, I raised one from a 6week old cub, she passed away 5 years ago.

@Kozel ....re your question about how my relationship with bears started...about 20years back while taking an early morning walk in my back yard I had a mother bear approach me with her cubs, it felt strange but somehow I didn't sense any threat, I stood still and she came right up to me with the cubs wrapping onto my legs...she looked at both cubs, gave me a quick glance and walked off into the bush and never returned, I now had 2 half year old cubs that mothered up to me...although they were a bit prematurely off the tit they grew into big healthy bears, one I named Ben and the other just Bear...then the wife (girl friend at the time) moved in with me and went from being terrified of bears to caregiver, provider and parent, they got strongly attached to her. Over the years the bears have come and gone but a few became habituated and now domesticated. Our number one "teddy bears" today are Brutus, Lashes and Booboo and although they are extremely close to me they go to her the moment she steps outside...they even sprawl out on the porch of the main entrance and greet the mailman every day, at first he was hesitant but now loves it. I've got 9 right now, 5 are yearling cubs and they're just wandering around the yard looking to see what kind of shit they can stir up...they're our family now and we all get along...not only that they are the best security system one could have, they're not vicious but they their image is...it's all been a lie, I've got 3 Timberwolves here and as many as 17 bears at once and have never had a violent encounter, it's the coyotes that are bad and I kill every one of those bastards along with racoons.
