What about the devout christians in florida ?

Consider:

(1) Some set of factors that are necessary for making planet earth habitable for life also make hurricanes possible. Thus, if earth exists and is fit for life, then hurricanes are possible.

(2) Toward the question of "why this hurricane?" (which has the trailer: "can't he stop this one?"), we can ask: what would it be to stop one and not all? And if it were to stop all hurricanes, then why not stop all evils? You can trace these questions to the more fundamental question, "If we were placed by someone here, why were we not placed in heaven?"

(3) Supposing that at least some weather events can be created or exacerbated, it may be that at least some of the blame here can be placed on (human) moral evil.

(4) If we were made, then we were made intelligently so as to be intelligent. And we were called to be charitable and to love our neighbor. Thus, we have the sense to get out of the way of the danger we see coming, and the expectation that our believing brothers and sisters will help us clean up the mess, and in so doing make a certain goodness expressible that would not otherwise be expressible if indeed we lived in heaven.

Marvel with fear and trembling, and know that He is God. If God was the sort of thing you picked like an ideal neighbor to have in an apartment building, then it would not be God.

He's by bud but he's a moron. I never understood that mindset. When I lived in tornado areas, if they called for one ya got the fuck down. Evacuation wasn't a thing but everyone had concrete basements. Even if you didn't get a full on tornado some of those storms could still fuck your house up big time.

For whatever reason, that guy decided to be a garbage inspector. He inspects shoddily built low end tract houses in the desert for his youtube channel. Gets into legal battles with various builders who try to take his license away.
