I know an older Christian couple who had been planning a trip to Yidsrael for late last year. They obviously didn't end up going b/c of the war genocide that started in October.

It's actually worse than the breakdown in that post. The $750 loan is per household. Given that there are roughly 3M households in Israel, that's $15K vs $750 (actually $0 since it's a loan).
