Robert Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" was less a mid-20th century pulp era sci-fi adventure novel and more a political treatise on good, moral, and ethical citizenship.

In the film, the first Sky Marshal following the disaster at Klendathu resigns, presumably understanding that his ignorance of the enemy and their capabilities led to the loss of life. Perhaps he was an excellent Sky Marshal for when the military was at peace, but as it's at war, it needs a leader whose doctrines are better suited to strategic operations. Ultimately, the scene, and much of the film, appeals to those who strive to be good, moral, and ethical people.

Leftists are none of these things, which is why they vilify, demonize, and deride the film and any media that espouses good, moral, and ethical responsible behavior. Why they are this way, is open to debate and analysis I leave to others with more time and energy to waste than myself, but thus far "The Evolutionary Psychology Behind Politics" has been hands down the most comprehensive book on human psychology I've read thus far. If you're curious to read it yourself, you should be able to find a copy on libgen.

While it's generally not unreasonable to dismiss stupid people as retards, how do you know for sure that they were actual human beings and not simply A.I. constructs behaving as programmed? How do you know I'm not an A.I. construct? The once 'anonymous' environment of the internet allows for all manner of deception, but as with all things, the best tool to develop for such challenges is ones mind.

That was the worst. It's a poor storytelling decision, too- you're supposed to be rooting for the illegals who have successfully invaded the USA through the southern border. Killing a dog is a way to make an audience despise someone.

The fact they speak Spanish with no subtitles also makes it harder for non-spanish speakers to connect with them. You're supposed to feel for these criminals who are trespassing on a foreign country's territory with the intent of disappearing into the country and committing MORE crimes by living/working somewhere deep in the country.

I think the movie might have been designed to piss viewers like us off by showing the hero and his dog being murdered by a pack of foreign savages who have come to steal from American citizens in one way or another.

Oh wait, I think I've seen this. First couple minutes highlight what a loser he is, and what a shitty live he chose to live. That probably is an ideal white male revenge fantasy movie, because the target demographic is cringe.
