What really gets me is how all of these personalities and outlets have been screaming for years about "da ebil gubbermint," yet they're shocked that no meaningful aid is being offered.

FEMA allegedly ran out of their allocated funding due to the illegal immigrants they've been throwing money at, and even if they did still have funding, they'd still be sitting on their hands and doing no meaningful work.

Yea, 'running out of funds' has been occurring since the early 2000's (probably even before).
The only time a shit load of Federal money is re-invested is if critical infrastructure is damaged - for the people you are out on your own 'Please donate'.
