Are GPU manufacturers using backroom deals with game developers to destroy game optimization in order to sell you new hardware? A lot of my viewers seem to think so. What are my thoughts? Let's find out.
Nvidia was found out a while back, building a GPU with massive investment into tessellation and a test scene containing unnecessary tessellation, just to make Geforce look fast and Radeon look slow.
Now I think about it, the offending mesh was some bench on a street with a million polygons forming only a few actual coplanar surfaces - that has to be a pun on "benchmark"...
Pack of fags spending thousands of hours on Kikeware Games and willing to shell out $500 to $1000 on a graphics card instead using that money for something useful or productive.

My 2006 pc was watching 1080p video, watching YouTube and gaming.
Both were underpowered for the time. My first "smart" phone from 2008 could go online no problem, again loads of tabs, watching YouTube etc.
It can't any more. Nothing works. Software updated to not work.
Should be painfully obvious something like this would happen.
