Voting stopped meaning anything when politicians started answering to lobbyists rather than citizens.
Until people change their mindset that it is perfectly acceptable to violently kill every one of these disgusting Shabbos goys, nothing will change.

Voting works because it allows the corrupt to cheat and take power while legitimizing themselves to the masses by telling everyone,"I won the popular vote so now you have to do what I say or you're uncivilized swine that undermine our great democracy."

Okay, here's why it works.

I like to make people eat my shit but people eventually realized they don't like eating my shit. They actually got upset that I was even asking them to eat my shit (the audacity).

However, I conceded to them it was wrong for me to force them to eat my shit and I would change.

I got gift bags, one was blue, one was red and I told them that from now on they get to pick what they eat AND they can eat whatever they want BUT what they eat is decided by a vote.

The catch is, I control what goes on the ballot for them to pick from and (surprise!) I shit in both bags. Doesn't matter though. They still eat my shit but instead of getting mad at me they get mad at one another for making them eat shit.

Voting has allowed me to keep feeding people shit without them even realizing I'm doing it.

It works in ethnically homogenous societies when it is limited to landowning males.
