They don't tell you who to vote for. They recommend who they think you should vote for. And you don't suffer one iota if you disregard their recommendation. I was an adamant Ron Paul supporter when the union supported the nigger.

The dues pay for the local with a skim to the national and the union sets the local wage for the entire trade.
