Boomers can't help it. They had weapons of propaganda of such volume and strength that they were unparalleled in history unleashed upon them during their formative years. They are a lost generation. The good news is that most of them hardly leave the house anymore and so at least we don't have to deal with their un-reality anymore and we can focus on generations where selective forces have started to do their magic. Problem is that a lot of the later gens have been estrogen-poisoned.

In certain parts of the country at least the teens and twenties are figuring things out I would never have expected them to be thinking about. I'm actually pretty encouraged in some ways.
